ESRC Ph.D Student (School to Entrepreneurship Transitions), Youth Social Entrepreneurship Education Consultant

I am currently enrolled in a 1+3 ESRC Funded PhD Programme undertaking research on the school to entrepreneurship transition in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo. This is a multidisciplinary project combining labour economics, political science and education studies, exploring how young people within the post-conflict post-socialist nexus develop their interest in, and pursue entrepreneurship. My wider research interests include: youth unemployment, labour market transitions, human capital development, youth participation, social entrepreneurship, human rights in business, education policy and sustainable development. I am an experienced project coordinator and workshop facilitator, with a demonstrated history of working on youth entrepreneurship related projects, predominantly within the capacity of international projects (under the Erasmus+ programme). I am currently involved in ad-hoc workshop design and delivery for numerous NGOs across the Europe and MENA regions, as well as working as a private tutor of Business, Economics and Social Entrepreneurship for Oxford Summer Courses. I am also an ambassador and mentor for the World Summit Awards, and a Trustee for Remembering Srebrenica Wales.
